Roasts
The coffee from Godoys is all high quality, strictly hard bean gourmet coffee. Unlike all coffees, our coffee is extremely versatile and roasts up well from medium to the very dark espresso. The flavor varies depending on the roast. Here is a guideline for the differences to see which roast suits you best.

Medium roast: This roast is also called light roast. It is smooth and sweet. The aroma is fragrant and penetrating and the cup sweet, snappy, full and with balanced acidity.

Dark roast: This roast is darker than the medium roast but not too dark. The cup is smooth and more strongly flavored with a hint of spice and chocolate and without bitterness. This is our most popular roast.

French roast: This is also a very popular roast. The flavor is very intense with a slight hint of chocolate, but the cup is less aromatic. The French roast is often used for espresso and cappuccino. The cup is fine and the aftertaste pungent without acidity.

Espresso roast: This is for the true lover of a very dark roast. Our Espresso roast is very strong without the burned flavor that a softer bean takes on. The bean is virtually black and very oily.

For a ground coffee we would like you to specify the grind you need for your particular coffee machine. We can give you the following choices:
